Born in Newport News, VA, Amy arrived in Havelock in 1994 by military transfer. Her husband is from Wichita, KS and is a 26-year Veteran of the US Marine Corps. They have five daughters between them and 8 grandchildren. The kids range in age from 29-39 and live in Newport, NC, Aberdeen, NC, Walker, LA, Phoenix, AZ and Havelock, NC. They are involved in Commercial Construction Management, Pharma Services, Prior US Army, Mortgage Loan Processor, Jazz Musician, Active-duty US Marine, SAHM for Green Compass, and Medical Supply.
Amy enjoys all of the seasons of NC, but Summer is her favorite! Whether it's boating or the beach or just being outside, we have a fairly long summer that's perfect for any type of outdoor activity.

I have no words to express how grateful and pleased we were having Amy as our realtor. From day 1 she was detailed with her explanation of the process and how to get us to closing on our home. We accepted an assignment overseas and needed to sell our house. The agent we bought our house from recommended us to Amy as the selling agent. After my wife and I made initial contact with Amy we felt confident that we had the right person. During her first visit to our home we told her our desire was to sell our house quickly. She walked the property with us, took pictures and laid out how the process would work. After performing market research she provided us with a selling price that made us both very happy. She arranged the photo shoot which included drone pictures which made our property look its best. All administrative communication was accomplished via a program called "dot loop" which allowed us to view and sign documents electronically, saving us time. Whenever we had a question, Amy was very reachable and provided a quick response. All communication was courteous and prompt. My wife and I are delighted that we picked Amy to sell our home and plan on staying in contact with her in the future.

Wow... Amy is amazing and made it a stress free experience. She knows her market and saved me $. See her before you finance for mortgage savers. I wanted to buy down my interest rate but Amy knew that I hadn't planned on living here long enough to benefit from the reduced rate... a $12K difference. I didnt make it easy for her. I wanted the perfect home for my family and told her I would know when I saw it... so I saw tons of homes. She also helped me avoid the money pit that lay under a pretty facade. She knows her flood zones. After hurricaine Florence... and 10 days after moving in; while everyone in New Bern was dewatering their homes and tracking their ruined possessions on the curb... I was high, dry, and intact. She also knows her septic tanks... with a little septic 101... I knew enough to trust country living. Lastly, long after the sale and she collected her commission, she checked in on me to make sure things were going well.

Amy was a perfect match for us. Very straightforward and to the point but also flexible enough to meet our every wish. She was very responsive (call, text and email) and took care of everything (even things we had no clue needed to be done). There was a mistake made by the company we dealt with for the mortgage and she swept in and made sure we were only pushed back 1 day for closing when it was presumed we would have to wait an additional 6. Amy was extremely helpful throughout this entire process. She was right there with us from beginning to end and always made herself available, answering texts and emails at all hours—whenever we had questions she had an answer and kept us informed. Even inquiries we had that were somewhat out of her wheelhouse, she always got answers. Always. Her level of expertise and professionalism is top-notch! There were more than a few moments when my wife and I were stressed and anxiety levels peaked a little bit, but Amy remained a calm and reassuring voice through it all. She handled negotiations and correspondence between us, the sellers, and other parties. Amy Logan knows what she is doing. And I would recommend her to any family member or close friend in search of a new home. I’m not sure what we would have done without her. We initially made the decision to move from Georgia to New Bern, NC in January and never thought that the move would happen as quickly as it did given the housing market in New Bern. Amy was great throughout the long, drawn out process. When the house we were purchasing flooded in Hurricane Florence, she helped us rescind the purchase contract and was ready to start the house hunting process all over again. She even went and looked at homes for us and took additional pictures. Amy is very professional, and enjoys meeting her clients. It shows that she enjoys what she does for a living. Wow... Amy is amazing and made it a stress free experience. She knows her market and saved me $. See her before you finance for mortgage savers. I wanted to buy down my interest rate but Amy knew that I hadn't planned on living here long enough to benefit from the reduced rate... a $12K difference. I didnt make it easy for her. I wanted the perfect home for my family and told her I would know when I saw it... so I saw tons of homes. She also helped me avoid the money pit that lay under a pretty facade. She knows her flood zones. After hurricaine Florence... and 10 days after moving in; while everyone in New Bern was dewatering their homes and tracking their ruined possessions on the curb... I was high, dry, and intact. She also knows her septic tanks... with a little septic 101... I knew enough to trust country living. Lastly, long after the sale and she collected her commission, she checked in on me to make sure things were going well.

We used this service because we resided out of state and were unfamiliar with the local area of interest. Hunting amid a pandemic and in a geographic area experiencing exponential growth is exhausting, but Amy supported us every step of the way. She was willing to visit properties on our behalf, many of which were over an hour out of her way, and facilitate live zoom walk-throughs.
